In addition to engraving, we can also make cuts of material. Maybe you have an intricate craft project that is too detailed to cut by hand or you need precision cuts for a prototype you are building. You just need to submit the required file formats and identify the material to be cut.

Engraving works by lightly etching/burning the surface of a materials. It does not go completely through the material and can be achieved at various depths depending on material type. Materials that engrave well are listed below.

Cutting uses a slower, higher powered beam that cuts completely through the material. There is a limit on thickness, generally nothing more than 1/4″ thickness. Metal, glass and stone cannot be cut through, only engraved or marked. Materials that cut well are listed below.
